Madden NFL 24 Cross-platform Information

PC (Win), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players can play together. PlayStation 4 players can only play with other PlayStation 4 players. Xbox One players can only play with other Xbox One players.

While each store may cross-play with other versions on the same platform, it cannot play with versions in a different cross-play group.

Can Madden NFL 24 be cross-played?

Madden NFL 24 introduces cross-play functionality, allowing players on PC, PlayStation®5, and Xbox Series X|S to compete against each other in several online modes.

Supported platforms are:

• PC

• PlayStation®5

• Xbox Series X|S

Enabling & Disabling Cross-Play

• Default Setting: Cross-play automatically occurs when you launch the game on PC, PS5, or Xbox Series X|S.

• Opting Out:

• Xbox Series X|S: Adjust console system settings.

• PC & PS5: Change the cross-play toggle in the in-game settings menu.
  

How Cross-Play Works

• Matchmaking Pool:

• Players who opt in are placed into cross-platform matchmaking for the supported game modes.

• Playing with Friends:

• Use the EA connect interface and search for friends by EA ID, Xbox Gamertag, or PSN ID.

• Supported Game Modes:

• Online Head-to-Head, Franchise, Madden Ultimate Team™, Superstar KO, and Superstar Showdown.
  

Cross-Platform Progression & Leaderboards

• Shared Progression:

• Avatar progression and gear purchases within Superstar mode carry over between PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

• Leaderboards:

• Cross-platform leaderboards are global for opt-in players. Those who opt out see only leaderboards for their platform.
