NHL 25 Cross-platform Information

PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players can play together.

While each store may cross-play with other versions on the same platform, it cannot play with versions in a different cross-play group.

Can NHL 25 be cross-played?

Cross-play lets you play NHL® 25 with friends, across different console types.

For example, if you're playing on PlayStation® 5 and your friend is on Xbox Series X|S, you can team up or compete against each other in online modes like World of Chel and Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT).

How to use cross-play in NHL® 25

In NHL® 25, you can use EA connect to add, invite, and play with friends across different console platforms. EA connect is an in-game menu that enables cross-platform and group play across EA games and platforms.

Once you’ve loaded the game's main menu, you’ll see the option to launch EA connect on the bottom right of your screen. To play with friends across different platforms, you’ll need to add them to your friends list in EA Connect.
