State of Decay 2 Cross-platform Information

PC (Win), Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players can play together.

While each store may cross-play with other versions on the same platform, it cannot play with versions in a different cross-play group.

Can State of Decay 2 be cross-played?

State of Decay 2 is available on Xbox and PCs, featuring cross-play capabilities! Players with an Xbox account can connect with others regardless of their platform or storefront.

To team up with friends from different platforms, you must share Xbox gamertags. PC users can invite or join friends through the Game Bar, which is typically opened by pressing the Windows and G keys simultaneously. Make sure you are logged into an Xbox account and verify that your multiplayer option is enabled in the in-game settings menu.
